Managing creator accounts

Learn how to connect and manage your creators on Offmy.

Connecting a creator on Offmy

First, go to the "Creators" page in Offmy from the left-hand menu.

Once on your creator management panel, click "Add a creator" in the top right. A window appears: fill in the desired information about your creator, then click "Add".

Your creator then appears in the list. To connect her to MYM, click the "Configure" button in the Connection column.

💡 Tip: the circle to the left of the "Configure" button shows the connection status:

  • Empty circle → creator not connected

  • Green circle → creator connected

The "Connections" window: two methods

Clicking "Configure" opens a "Connections" window. You'll find two methods there:

Method

What it's for

Credentials

Log in with your MYM credentials to access the creator account in real time.

API Key

Use the MYM account's API key to enable automatic data synchronization and performance tracking.

🚨 Important: both methods are required. You must connect both the Credentials AND the API Key for your creator's account to work correctly. An incomplete connection (only one of the two methods) does not allow full account tracking.

Follow the two steps below, one after the other.

Step 1 (required) — Connecting with Credentials

  1. In the "Connections" window, click "Connect" next to Credentials.

  2. The MYM login window appears.

  1. Enter the creator's MYM email and password, then click "Log in".

⚠️ Logins via Google, Facebook or Apple are not available with Offmy. If the MYM account uses one of these methods, follow the indicated procedure to set a password.

  1. Then make sure automatic renewal is enabled to avoid unexpected disconnections.

Once connected, the label next to Credentials turns green and displays "Disconnect".

Step 2 (required) — Connecting with an API Key

This method requires generating an API key from the MYM account, then pasting it into Offmy.

Step A — Generate the API key on MYM

  1. Log in to the creator's MYM account from any browser.

  2. Go to My account → account settings.

  1. Scroll down to the "Third party access" section and open it.

  1. In the "Active" tab, click "Generate a new API key".

  2. Name the key ("API key name" field), then select OFFMY as the partner ("Who will use the key?") and confirm with "Generate a new API key". ℹ️ You can only have one active API key per partner.

  3. Copy the generated key.

Step B — Paste the key into Offmy

  1. Go back to Offmy, into the creator's "Connections" window.

  2. Paste the key into the API Key field (format ck_live_…).

  3. Click "Validate the key".

Once validated, the label next to API Key turns green and displays "Disconnect".

Final check: in the "Connections" window, Credentials AND API Key must both be green ("Disconnect"). If either one is still blue ("Connect"), the setup is not complete.

⚠️ Disable two-factor authentication

You must disable two-factor authentication to avoid unexpected disconnections of your creator's account and to ensure automatic renewal works properly.

How to do it:

From any browser, go to the creator's MYM settings, "Login & Security" section, then turn off the "Activate the double authentication function" option.
